Mindfulness for the Early Years Training

This enjoyable and interactive training session is for Early Years Practitioners and parents and guardians of children between the ages of 0-5 years.  It aims to raise awareness of the benefits of a mindful lifestyle and assist them in confidently introducing a range of mindful and wellbeing practices to the children in their care.  The outcome for the child is the acquistion of skills required for emotional resilience, self expression and self regulation.

Enjoyable, informative and relaxing for participants, this training day facilitates the acquistion of the basic principles of mindfulness through experiential learning, discussion and lecture.  It will provide a solid foundation from which to introduce mindful practices into your settings or homes.

 

During the session we examine the cognitive, physical and social benefits of mindfulness for both children and adults and explore how it can help us achieve and maintain good mental health.

Health and Safety Guidance and how to monitor children's progress are also addressed.

 

The training is accompanied by access to an online portal with ready made resources for you to use with the children in your care.
