We take so much for granted as we go about our daily lives. We expect our bodies to function normally, our environment to support us with food, air and water and even our friendships and relationships to continue smoothly with rarely a second thought for how this happens. During this Autumn Retreat we will take sometime out to focus on Gratitude. Recent reseach has found that those people with a regular gratitude practice are much healthier and happier than those who do not practice this attitude. Simply put, grateful people are happy people! The itinerary for the day should look something like this: Welcome and Warm Drinks Morning Meditation - Slowing Down, Seeing what's in front of us. Mindful Movement - Connecting with and thanking our bodies Discussion Topic - What am I grateful for? Seasonal Homemade Lunch Vipassana - Seeing the world how it really is. Activity: How do I express my gratitude? Body Scan - Relaxing and rejuvenating guided body scan.
