Mindful Menopause Retreat

"Menopause is an opportunity to gracefully let go of what no longer serves you and welcome in new possibilities"
Dr Christiane Northrup
This is a new retreat for 2026.
Suitable for all women at any stage of menopause from the age of 40 years upwards.
Menopause can be a very challenging time for many and it is common for women to feel quite isolated during this period of life. Limited access to specialist menopause services and information is prevalent. Put this together with a lack of knowledge and understanding from society in general and women can start to feel dismissed, invisible and anxious.
Research has found that when women are well informed about the menopause they are less likely to suffer on a mental, emotional and cognitive level. In addition to this, their physical symptoms are also likely to be less frequent and less severe. There is also evidence to show that women who recieve good support from their peers are more likely to fair much better on a psychological level.

My aim as a Mindfulness Facilitator and qualified Menopause Coach is to provide a calm, safe environment where women can talk openly about their menopause experience without judgement. This retreat will also provide women with the opportunity to explore a range of mindful techniques that have been proven to tackle some of the more challenging symptoms such as hot flushes, sleep disturbances and loss of confidence.

“The changes, the highs and lows and the hormonal shifts, there is power in that. But we were taught to be ashamed of it and to not even seek to understand it or explore it for our own edification, let alone to help the next generation.”
Michelle Obama
