Theme : The Beginner's Mind

“In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities,
but in the expert’s there are few”
Shunryu Suzuki
The theme for this years Spring Retreat is 'The Beginner's Mind'. This mindful attitude encourages us to view the world from a new perspective, with a fresh pair of eyes. During this retreat we will take time out to 'see things as they really are' without the influence of past experiences, beliefs and ideals.

What is the value of doing this?

Well! When we approach the world curiously, with an open mind, we begin to see opportunities we might otherwise have missed. We give ourselves permission to explore new ideas and beliefs about the world around us, our relationships and even ourselves.
Using our 'Beginners' Mind' we can create the mental space required to activate our imagination and solve problems. Adjusting our mindset can help us to become more resilient to life's difficulties, decrease our stress levels and even improve our physical health.

So, if you would like to feel refreshed and rejuvenated in mind, body and spirit we would love to welcome you to this retreat.
